McCall 432 - Uncle Sam Costume

1936

Another one of McCall's lovely color illustrations. This one includes a pattern for the top hat. The vest has lost the stars of the earlier versions.

None of the patterns on the site is for sale. Because vintage patterns generally go into private collections, I use this blog to share home sewing pattern designs which might not otherwise be available to people.

Uncle Sam suits have been offered pretty steadily by the pattern companies since the 1920s and are still available today. You may want to consider buying one of the current patterns and using this older design as in inspiration for customization.
